Check Out These Fun Hudson Valley Fall Festivals

Now that we're into the second half of September, it seems as though the entire Hudson Valley is switching into full fall mode! There are tons of amazing autumn-themed events happening all around our area each week, so you'll have no shortage of options for getting into the spirit of the season. In this post, you can learn about a handful of fall festivals that are being held in Rhinebeck, Poughkeepsie, Pawling, and East Fishkill.

Fishkill Farms Fall Harvest Festivals

Stop by Fishkill Farms (9 Fishkill Farm Road) on any weekend through October to enjoy their bounty of farm-fresh food and fun fall activities! Guests can pick apples straight from the trees, enjoy wagon rides through the orchard, explore their corn maze, and listen to live music! Of course, all of these things can be made even better once you add in their delicious hard cider and fresh cider donuts! Plus, make sure you go this weekend, as the pumpkin patch is scheduled to open for picking on Saturday, September 21st! Admission is just $5. Check out the food offerings, music schedule, and more at their website.

Kesicke Farm Fall Festivals

Another excellent, recurring fall festival is being held every Saturday and Sunday through October 27 at Kesicke Farm (229 Middle Road, Rhinebeck). The farm will offer plenty of fun options, including a corn maze, wagon rides through the corn, hay rides, the ability to feed and pet their farm animals, and, of course, apple cider donuts. You can pay for individual activities or grab an all-day fun pass for $15 (this event is cash only). Head over to their website for more details.

Pawling Rotary Fall Festival

If you'd prefer a one-day-only kind of event, then check out the Pawling Rotary Fall Festival happening on Saturday, September 28th at Lakeside Park! They are promising fun for the whole family with both outdoor and indoor activities. Pony rides, hay rides, a hay maze, "Touch A Truck", lacrosse, and tons of games are just some of the options for attendees to enjoy. Plus, you can eat delicious burgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, pulled pork, candy apples, and other treats! This event runs from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. and admission is free! Follow it on Facebook for updates and more information.

Family Harvest Fest in Poughkeepsie

Last but not least, bring the kids to the Poughkeepsie Galleria parking lot on Sunday, September 29th for a different kind of fall festival! There will be arts & crafts, face painting, music, giveaways, lawn games, seasonal seltzer tastings by Dutchess Beer Distributors, and adorable animals from Hudson Valley Animal Rescue. Best of all, proceeds from this event will benefit the Children’s Home of Poughkeepsie. You can register by clicking here.

These are just a few of the many amazing fall events happening throughout the next few weeks in our area! If you want even more fall fun, take a look at the Dutchess County Event Calendar.
