From 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., relax on your chairs and blankets and enjoy a picnic buffet featuring hamburgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob, coleslaw, potato salad, iced tea, and lemonade. Afterward, everyone will be able to build their own sundae for dessert! In the mean time, dad can enjoy lawn games with the family and a gift. Tickets are $15.

If dad would prefer something a little more active, then head over to the Hyde Park Roller Magic Roller Skating Rink! From 1-4:30 p.m., all dads skate free and can partake in games and trivia with their families to try to win prizes!

In Millbrook:

If dad would prefer a fantastic glass of wine for his special day, then check out Millbrook Vineyards & Winery! They will be hosting their Father's Day "Grüner, Brats & Beer" event from noon until 5 p.m. The menu will feature grilled brats with potato pancakes and red cabbage salad for $17.95.

In Poughkeepsie:

Finally, for all those movie-loving dads out there, the Bardavon Opera House is putting on a Father's Day Star Wars Marathon starting at 11 a.m.! The marathon will naturally start with the original movie from 1977 before rolling into 1980's The Empire Strikes Back at 2 p.m. and finishing with 1983's Return of the Jedi beginning at 5 p.m. There will be a full bar, food, and snacks in the lobby before, during, and after each screening, along with music from the mighty Wurlitzer Organ! Tickets are $10 per film or $24 for the full set.
